For the past several years, FAMECanada has ordered medicine from IDA in Amsterdam and had it shipped directly to Haiti. IDA redistributes medications from manufacturers to medical NGOs at a fraction of the cost. In March 2019 our latest shipment was delivered!

This is a huge advantage for cost saving but also allows us to to directly ship 100s of kgs of medication. Anyone who has tried to carry medicine across a border in their luggage understands what an enormous help this is to any medical mission. This supply of antibiotics, blood pressure medication and diabetes medication will last most of the year at the Lifeline clinic in Grand Goave, Haiti. A big thank you to all of you who donated to make this happen.
